The Do's and Don't in our Pet Policy
Hi all!
So you're thinking of bringing your dog/s with you on holiday... firstly, we can't wait to meet them! Second, we have a few pet policy rules to follow to ensure everyone has a fabulous holiday.
*Our cottages are not suitable for reactive dogs due to shared fencing with neighbouring cottage and owners property*
We accept up to 2 well behaved dogs per cottage. Please read our “House Rules for Dogs” within the Welcome book on arrival.
Within the cottage:
- Dogs are allowed in all rooms, however we do ask that if they go on any furniture you use the Ruff and Tumble throws left for you. If your dog sleeps on the bed, please bring your own bedding.
- Bring your dogs own bed/s. We don't supply any dog bedding as bringing your own not only will this help them to settle at night, it gives them a feel of home and comfort.
- Please ensure your dog/s are free from parasites and fleas before coming to the property (failure to do so will incur subsequent charges)
- Dog/s are NOT to be left alone in the property at any time, if you would like a pet sitter for the evening, please see our blog on local dog sitters
Please note, all cleaning supplies (hoover etc...) are located within the storage room for your use during your stay.
Outside the cottage:
- Any fouling of lawns etc... must be cleared up without delay
- Dog/s are to be on-lead and under control in the car parking area/ outside space
*NO other animals are permitted on the property (including and not limited to birds, reptiles, cats, fish, small mammals etc…)*
Polite reminder: Your dog is entirely your responsibility at all times. We do not charge extra for dogs within the cottage but if excessive cleaning is found to be required then a charge of £15.00 per hour will be taken from the security deposit.
We regret that we, under no circumstances accept any dogs under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (Pitbull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasilerio and XL Bully Breeds)
