Udder Cottage
Absolutely delightful stay ! Everything has been thought of to make our stay peaceful and relaxing. Excellent recommendations for "eateries" - all super dog friendly. Our 2 dogs settled in quickly and we enjoyed some lovely walks. I feel sure that we will be back !

Udder Cottage - Wonderful long weekend. Thanks to Chris and David for being great hosts. The cottage is fabulous and much thought around the little details, such as the Forgotten Basket.
Both of our dogs loved seeing Molly and Mumbles and were made very welcome.
The resturants recommended - The Swan at Hoxne and The Four Horseshoes, Thornham were very dog friendly and the food was excellent.

What lovely accomadation, well equiped and relaxing. Everything we could have asked for and more to cater for us humans and our 4 legged fur babies. Thank you for a fabulous weekend, Udder Cottage was perfect and so relaxing. We had such a lovely break, we visited Aldeburgh and Thorpeness which were 45 mins away and well worth a visit. We will definitely be returning later in the year. Meeting Mumbles and Molly was also a highlight of the weekend.

We shopped in Harleston at the lovely butchers and had a great steak dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed Framlingham Castle, so dog friendly and helpful volunteers. The festive touches were much appreciated. Best of all the dogs have loved it here. Thank you and Happy New Year.

Exceptionally well appointed cottage with every modern convenience. Chris and David have thought of everything one needs for a relaxing break.
Udder Cottage is a delight ! there was everything we needed and more - for the dogs too. Sadly our stay coincided with a blanket of fog and drizzle so we didnt see much of the glorious ( apparently ! ) Suffolk countryside. A return visit is a must. The dog bath was very useful for 12 muddy paws - a great addition. Thank you Chris and David - I am sure we will be back. In fact we will look at dates when we get home ! Happy New Year and thank you again.

Perfect stay in your lovely cottage. The dogs loved their Advent Calendar and treats. We visited lots of villages and walked on the beach in the Sunshine! Lovely meals at The Swan Hoxne and The Kings Head, Laxfield, what a quirky pub, we loved it. Hope to return next year.

From booking to arrival a great experience. We were all made very welcome and the accommodation is fantastic. Christine and David have thought of everything. A real home from home. What a lovely cottage ! Within half an hour of arriving we had recommended it to 2 sets of friends. Everything you need is here, plus much more besides. Good quality items and lovely decor, the visual flame effect fire below the TV is a brilliant idea and made us feel very cozy, only sorry that we werent staying longer.
Thank you for our lovely stay in Udder cottage. We needed nothing, everything provided and more ! Bed was amazing. Baxter needed a wash in the doggie bath, on more than 1 day !! again another brilliant idea.

We have had a wonderful relaxing 3 day stay at Udder cottage. Chris and David are fabulous hosts who made us feel very welcome. The attention to detail inside the cottage is stunning, everything you could possibly need to enhance your stay. The comfortable super king size bed, fluffy towels and the forgotten basket just enhance your stay. The welcome hamper was delicious and so nice that it was from the local butchers. Rosie enjoyed her treats too and loved making friends with Molly and Mumbles through the fence. We would highly recommend the Fox and Goose resturant, the menu is mouth watering, the staff attentive and the food absolutely delcious and we cant wait to stay again.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Milk Churn Cottage. A stunning property with wonderful hosts. The super king bed was so comfy, the decor and attention to detail was outstanding. We will definitely look to go back soon

10 days in Udder cottage, me,Indie and Riley ( hubby had to work). We have had a fab time, walking and relaxing in this lovely cottage. It has everything you need and we took advantage of the NEW dog shower and laundry room. The great big bed is so comfy and everything is so quiet, I did not want to get up. We have had great weather and between the walks direct from the cottage ( thank you David for the maps). We have been exploring the many country parks in both Suffolk and Norfolk. Brandon Country Park was a favourite and only £3 to park. Dunwich Health and beach was another amazing place to walk. A gem of a find for a great holiday, Chris and David were fantastic hosts and Molly and Mumbles with thier morning visits to the fence. We very much hope to return.
What a wonderful time we have had the cottage is beautifully decorated and all the extras - welcome food for adults, welcome basket for the dogs and all the extra little bits left out for us were lovely to see. Bailey particularly loved his "zoomies" in the front drive and loved relaxing in the garden. We ate at The Good, Bad and the Hungry, amazing location and food. The Swan Inn, Hoxne - again lovely. Kam Moon - Chinese takeaway Harleston. Eye fish and chips " well worth the drive" Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have had a lovely stay at Udder Cottage, you gave us a lovely welcome and the cottage is perfect ( comfortable, homely and well equipped). Thanks for your local knowledge on walks and pubs - we couldnt get a table at The Fox and Goose but had a good meal at The Swan. We made 2 visists to the beach at Dunwich which was perfect in the hot weather. Bertie enjoyed the visits from Molly and Mumbles and loved saying hello to them at the fence each day. Thank you.

We booked last minute for our mini-moon and it has been lovely. such a beautiful cottage with a lovely view from the garden. So many little things and finishing touches that have made our stay so wonderful.
This charming cottage is set on the ground floor. Double doors from the lounge lead onto a small garden with beautiful views of the countryside. Fully fitted kitchen and a stunning modern bathroom with walk in shower.
Comfortable lounge with tv and wifi. Spacious bedroom with super king size bed. Good for exploring the local area. Looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend.

Had the most amazing and relaxed long weekend in the Udder Cottage.
It is situated in a beautiful location and the views are lovely, there is plenty to do and see around, lots of country walks and only a short drive to the coast.
The cottage itself is impeccably decorated and has lots of luxury touches, it has everything you could need for a short or long stay.
Myself and my partner really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you!

What a beautiful cottage.
The decor was stunning - you can see how much time and love was put into creating this lovely getaway. Modern but also cosy and homely. The HUGE bed and the breathtaking view was a bonus!
It’s situated in a lovely village which is in a perfect location for visiting nearby towns, such as Southwold! There’s also shops in the village or a short drive away. You can’t go wrong.
Chris & David were so so lovely, they gave us space but also made it clear if there was anything we needed they’d be on hand.
We had such an amazing weekend and can’t wait to go back again in summer and enjoy the beautiful countryside!

Udder Cottage
I had a wonderful stay in Udder Cottage for 2-nights, with my Golden Retriever! The cottage itself was well laid out, spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and views from the enclosed garden were amazing!
If you stay, you must sit out on a clear night to look at the stars!
Very dog friendly area, we walked to a local cafè for breakfast, which had an enclosed dog field too! Then took a trip to Southwold beach.
